A groundbreaking piece of work Matt led included spending the last six years establishing the Property and Workplace Centre of Excellence for one of Australia&#8217;s leading resources companies; guiding the organisation through a major transition in ways of working.<\/p>\n<p>Matt started his journey into workplace with studies in Urban Planning and Design, moving into a Master of Applied Commerce which served to enhance his knowledge of the industries he would be working in.<\/p>\n<p>From his time at university, he only gained momentum by expanding his experience base in portfolio and workplace strategy, project management, facilities and operations management and user experience. Matt&#8217;s experience has given him an understanding of how an effective workplace strategy can enable broader organisational aspirations, support leaders to build high-performing teams and facilitate great experiences for all users. \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n<p>Now, Matt takes on his role at Presynct, where we look forward to him building our base in Melbourne and seeing what he can do to further the reach of our team and create workplace brilliance on a national level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Get to know Matt<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We asked Matt a couple of questions to help you get to know him better. Here&#8217;s what he had to say:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Q. What made you choose to come on board with Presynct?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A. I am passionate about workplace and the unique role it plays in productivity and experience. Presynct&#8217;s deliberate focus on Workplace Strategy &amp; Change and the methodical approach to delivery resonated with me. I am impressed with the diversity of clients Presynct has been able to support over the years. I also am excited about the teams&#8217; curiosity, growth mindset and sense of fun. This honestly feels like such a perfect fit for me.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Q. What is your favourite aspect of the strategy \/ change approach?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A. I have two. Firstly, I love the process of developing a strategy. Unpacking the drivers, constraints and ambition and honing this into an aspirational strategy is exciting and gets me out of bed.<\/p>\n<p>Second, it&#8217;s the outcome. After a workplace change has been completed and the day-to-day has settled in, I love seeing how the change has landed. When the user experience feels natural, enhanced and enabling, then you know you&#8217;ve made a positive impact.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Q. If you were a workplace setting, what would you be and why?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A. A whiteboard. Without question. A whiteboard represents endless possibilities, desire to problem solve, pure collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Q. What do you like to do with your time outside of work?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to see live music and going for a run or a swim. And being from Melbourne, drinking good coffee and complaining about the weather.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>We would love to connect.
