KEY PROJECT DRIVERS<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

After a top down cost reduction programme to reduce the Chevron footprint in Houston Texas, Chevron found that half of employees didn\u2019t like the current workplace, that they had grown out of their space and that workplace was an important factor in organisational collaboration, retention and perceived productivity.  Chevron initiated a workplace redesign project which was focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Purchasing additional real estate to support their growing needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Re-engaging business units and employees to help shape the design to meet their diverse needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop a flexible template that could support the diverse needs without impacting footprint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    WHAT THE PRESYNCT TEAM IS DELIVERING<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    Lisa Copland (Presynct) led a four person change management team for Chevron\u2019s downtown Houston workspace redesign. Key activities included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Developing the strategic user engagement and communications campaigns including gathering design requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Planning and executing sponsorship and leadership engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Educating customers and organisational representatives on the new workspace design<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Defining the move process and logistical communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Defining and executing success measures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Developing the governance model to ensure sustainability of the workspace design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Not only have Chevron Business and Real Estate Company (CTBRES) successfully implemented a flexible and standard workspace design which meets the needs of the diverse business units as well as the next generation of employees, they are now perceived as partners to the operating companies that can add value to their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This was one of the most successful projects for Chevron which can be seen in the client testimonials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
