Occupancy Model Options
There are 24 occupancy models that impact the area and capacity modelling of a space. These also have different behavioural guardrails, site requirements, spatial and design principles and workplace technology performance requirements. Presynct ByYou allows you to select the most and least efficient model or a specific occupancy model options to compare, including but not limited to:
- HOMEZONES - PACKING UP WHEN LEAVING MODEL: Multiple teams share a boundary-less work area. Overlapping areas adjust with office occupancy. Users must clear their workpoints when not in use. There are a variety of primary and secondary workpoints included in the sharing ratio.
- HOMEZONES - WORKPOINT FOR A DAY MODEL: Multiple teams share a boundary-less work area. Overlapping areas adjust with office occupancy. Users can utilize one workpoint daily but not two concurrently. Typically open primary workpoints included in the sharing ratio.
- NEIGHBOURHOODS - PACKING UP WHEN LEAVING MODEL: A team shares workpoints based on ratios; team members can sit within whereas others cannot. Users must clear their workpoints when not in use. There are a variety of primary and secondary workpoints included in the sharing ratio.
- NEIGHBOURHOODS - WORKPOINT FOR A DAY MODEL: A team shares workpoints based on ratios; team members can sit within, whereas others cannot. Users can utilise one workpoint daily but not two concurrently. Typically open primary workpoints included in the sharing ratio.
- ASSIGNED WORKPOINT MODEL: Everyone, regardless of office attendance, gets an assigned workpoint. Growth is managed by retaining empty workpoints.
WORK FROM HOME POLICY
Your work from home, remote working or return to office policy has an impact on how much space you require to support your people and their requirements. Presynct offers the options of 6 work from home policies to select from:
- SELF DIRECTED WFH: Your people can choose when they work from home vs when they work from the office based on the activities they are completing
- 20% IN THE OFFICE: Staff are expected to attend the office 1 day per week or 20% over the month
- 40% IN THE OFFICE: Staff are expected to attend the office 2 days per week or 40% over the month
- 60% IN THE OFFICE: Staff are expected to attend the office 3 days per week or 60% over the month
- 80% IN THE OFFICE: Staff are expected to attend the office 4 days per week or 80% over the month.
- 100% IN THE OFFICE: Staff are expected to attend the office 100% of the time.
DATA AND EVIDENCE BASED REPORTING
