KEY PROJECT DRIVERS – LEADING ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE BUSINESS, NATIONALLY

The organisation nationally sought to overhaul their entire corporate office environment (10,816sqm) and through the partnership with Presynct to develop their national workplace strategy, identified the key project drivers for transforming their workplaces:

  • A space where wellbeing, inclusion and diversity are prioritised
  • The provision of enabling technology to support anyone, anywhere
  • A space that represents the organisation and instils pride

WHAT THE PRESYNCT TEAM DELIVERED

Over 15 months, Presynct successfully transitioned the organisation’s Brisbane employees (including a 24/7 operations centre) from a fixed desk environment to sharing model (homezoned teams).

Presynct developed and delivered end-to-end change management programme, successfully adapted in response to challenges brought on by COVID-19.

Evidence indicates that the delivery of the change programme was highly effective, with employees feeling aware of the need for change and satisfied with the information they were receiving.

Furthermore, the organisation’s Brisbane office has seen a significant increase in their workplace experience indicators following the successful implementation of the new workplace standards and ways of working.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

  • COLLABORATION​: 98% agree the workspace enables communication and collaboration. 30% improvement in interaction, collaboration and communication.
  • PRODUCTIVITY: 97% agree the workspace enables their team to effectively work together. 62% improvement in productivity working in the new workplace.
  • SATISFACTION: 93% are satisfied with the workspace. 53% improvement in how satisfied they are with the new work environment.
  • WORKSTYLE​: 98% agree that current technology enables them to work in other locations. 48% improvement in how the new workspace supports their workstyle. 

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • 97% of employees agreed they understand the case for change and transitioning to a new way of working.
  • 98% of employees agreed they were satisfied with the way in which they were engaged and/or communicated with in relation to the project.
  • 98% of employees agreed they feel the move is a good change for the organisation.
